Our water meadows at Thyme are the flood plains of the River Leach - a chalk stream, flowing through the Cotswolds landscape and into the River Thames. Covering 40 acres of land, we manage this space for nature.
These meadowlands have a rich tapestry of wild grasses and flowers, as well as phenomenal birdlife, insects and mammals. Being flood plains, during the winter much of the meadows can be covered with flood waters; every year is different.
These meadows and the botanicals that grow here are the inspiration for this collection.
